Kyle Mooney, a graduate of Florida State University’s Professional Golf Management program, began appearing as a guest host on the Leaderboard in the early stages of the show, as well as another show that preceded it.

Kyle grew up in Pennsylvania where he played high school golf and started his career in the golf industry at the age of 13.Following his high school career, he relocated to the state of Florida to attend Florida State. After graduating from FSU in 2006, Kyle moved to the Orlando area taking a position with the Florida-based company Kitson and Partners, within their Club Services division.

In 2007, Kyle became the youngest person in the company’s history to obtain a position as General Manager and took over operations at one of Kitson’s owned courses. Kyle is still with the company today and retains a Regional Manager position overseeing the operation of multiple clubs throughout the country.

Amongst other curiosities, Kyle’s interests for radio were peaked following a live appearance on a local FM station in his home town in order to promote a charity golf event he was hosting at the age of 16. This gave Kyle the “radio bug” and left him aspiring for future involvement in a broadcasting experience. In January of 2012, Kyle took on a permanent role with the Leaderboard fulfilling a life-long ambition combining his passion for golf and the intrigue the world of radio created for him
